Many years ago, in 2007, I was working for a big company in India. But the bosses wanted me to stay at work very, very late every day. I did not think it was fair because I wanted to spend time with my family too. So, they asked me to leave the job. I felt sad, but my second daughter was born 10 days later, which made me happy again.
I decided to start my own company called Nexgen. I didn’t want it to be like the big company I worked for. I wanted my company to be a place where people can work well without staying very, very late. I also wanted them to be happy and able to think for themselves.
For a while, things went well. We worked with people in the United States and even opened a second office! But then, we started having some problems. Some people who worked with us did not want to be part of a team. They only wanted to think about themselves and tried to cheat. This made it hard for us to keep growing.
Despite all of this, we kept going. We even managed to keep the company running when I moved to the United Kingdom and then to New Jersey in the United States. But in 2018, we had to close our second office because some people were not being honest. They were working for other companies from our office!
Now, I want to build NPRO Technologies LLC into a company that is different. A company where people can work from home but still feel like they are part of a team. A company that treats people well and helps them to learn and grow.
I want our company to be a place where people can do great work but also have time for their families and other important things in their lives.
We are also trying to work in different areas like selling things on the internet, helping people buy and sell houses, and more. This helps our team learn new things and makes our company stronger.
So, NPRO is a story about trying hard, learning from mistakes, and never giving up on our dream. We hope more people will join us on this adventure.
